The Administrator of The USDA's Food and Nutrition Service, Cindy Long, joins host Rob Bisceglie on this special episode of Kids Can! to discuss her role at The FNS, and how nutrition plans and healthy eating are critical to keeping our children happy and healthy.  Cindy was appointed as Administrator of USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) on Sept. 13, 2021, and has led FNS’ implementation of the most significant restructuring of its programs in a decade.  Additionally, she previously served as the Deputy Administrator for FNS Child Nutrition Programs where she was responsible for all aspects of federal administration of the child nutrition programs, including the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, Child and Adult Care Food Program, Summer Food Service Program, and the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program.  So hit that play button and join us for another thoughtful episode of Kids Can! brought to you by Action For Healthy Kids.
