On today’s episode of Kids Can! from Action for Healthy Kids, Rob talks with global educator, speaker, author, and policymaker Sean Slade. Sean has spent the last 25 years working around the globe in education. Currently, he is the U.S. Head of Education at the Global Education Organization, BTS Spark. He’s also a co-founding member for the UNESCO Chair on Global Health and Education, a member of the OECD’s Future of Education 2030, and a social and emotional learning expert for NBC’s TODAY. In their conversation, Rob and Sean discuss their years-long collaboration on Whole Child health and the positive impacts the Whole Child model has had for kids. They also discuss the role that adults have on children’s childhood experiences and the adults that inspired Sean when he was younger.
